Hello everyone, this past week has been more exhausting than any other before. There has been a lot of discussion about the last update and Tia's bonus scene in particular. When I look back on it I have to admit that I did put the wrong focus on it. I shouldn't have done the whole dialogue image overhaul for Tia and the preparation for a future pregnancy/dress mode for her. Squeezing that in there caused that I didn't have more time for vanilla content and so in the end it came short. I'm sorry for that, I've learned my lesson.I take critique serious, often maybe too serious and in this case it also caused a bit of a blockade. There have been situations where I stared at the desktop not knowing what to do next. It's difficult to write dialogue with emotion if you have a constant sleep deficit (as I had trouble finding sleep) and thoughts about how disappointed people are and how to fix that.I still managed to get something done and I will also work right after finishing this short text.I won't be able to get this version out today as I had planned, which after all that happend this week makes me a bit sad as my first thought early this week was "best to show content rather than words". I made a lot of new images again over the past days which I put in as transitions between scenes. I still plan to do this 0.5.1.9 release, but I will put it on Monday as I do want to complete at least one more quest step for it.

Ok now one more coffee and then back to it ;)I wish you all a nice weekend.

Taking critique is fine, as long as you agree with it yourself to some extent. If it goes against your own thoughts/ideas then it becomes much less interesting. It is your game, your decisions, your choices - no matter who pays what. Generally the louder people are heard more, but just because they are louder doesn't mean they support your project more - or have the same vision for the future of the game as you. Get some sleep and unwind!

The best critique after all are those ment to help or add. Not to force or drag down

“You can please some of the people all of the time, you can please all of the people some of the time, but you can’t please all of the people all of the time” My advice, friend...unless you're inspired and excited about the work, it isn't worth doing if forced. You just end up getting criticized by others along with you dogpiling on yourself because you knew better. Hope you think about that over the weekend and concentrate on getting quality rest. You'd be surprised how well a person can work refreshed and energized. ;-) Take care!

Stay the course friend. You are good and have done really good. The bigger and more popular you get, the more people will chime in with their 2 cents, but it doesn't change anything. People will give input because they want to give input, don't feel like you have to listen to everything, just go with what makes sense to you. You're the creator, you're the best. Keep it up

The fuck are you talking about Chyo's? The Tia update was phenomenal! The vanilla stuff in it was on freaking point.

Don't be so hard on yourself, you did a great job :)

Chyo's you are one of the best developers here. The updates are solid, and you communicate with us regularly. Don't worry about what one or two people say or think. It is great you ask us for help on the story, or what to work on next, but this is your story to tell. We are here because we like how you weave everything together.
