Weekly Status Report (Patreon)

Good afternoon,I set a whole bunch of goals for this week, time to give you an overview of what I did the past days.Since I managed to get the new maps completed on Friday, I was able to implent them on Monday. After I was done with it I went straight to making situational charaktersprites for the monks/sisters (sleeping/working/sitting). After these were finally all done and positioned I started to create a daily routine for each of the main characters. As expected, this was quite a time-consuming process (making movement routes for all of them) and kept me busy until Thursday noon. After that, I tried something new and created daily routines for the monks who don't have a personality, I still have to test a bit whether the routines on the screen don't get too hectic. Now that all these preparations are complete, I can finally start writing the story. I'll get right to it today after I finished this report and then follow up on Monday.My current plan is to go through the murder case step by step, which means I'll write dialogues for the important monks that the MC can question, as well as hide clues in the world that can then be discovered. I hope that succeeds as I imagine it. In any case, it should be possible to make a wrong conclusion at the end and to prosecute an innocent of the crime.In addition, of course, the interaction with the nuns should not come too short and for this I still have to make animations. I've also worked on some new outfits for them so a few more character sprites will also be needed and of course a new scene with Syfa should also be in the mix. All in all there is a lot to do.There are still 2 weeks left until the month is over. I intend to publish an update towards the end of the month. However, it remains to be seen whether this then already contains all content. I want to finish this story section in any case, even if that means that it still takes some additional time of July. Leaving the story unfinished would feel bad. This is of course not the last update of Mira's story, but all that concerns the story about the murder and the ritual should be completeable.Ok, I think that has given a good overview so far.
