There's a specific defensive tendency in Tom Aspinall's game that I believe will be his downfall -- perhaps soon. I’ve always been high on him overall as a prospect and have picked him every fight so far, but now he’s facing the elite. This is not something that can go unchecked.

Here I look at four of his fights, going back to 2020. I clipped almost every punch thrown at him from those four bouts to highlight how consistent this habit is. Whether the punches land or not, this tendency is always there.
