Hello, I hope you enjoy this week's full reaction!  This was a good movie, with a really solid cast, I'm kind of puzzled why I've never heard of it!

It was a made for tv production in the mid 90s, that I think prettymuch only aired on local channels occasionally and TNT. Very little of this aspect of wwii is covered with only a handful of films. 12 o'clock high and Memphis belle being the most notable.

Looks like it did have a theatrical release, but also seems like something TNT or TBS would run a lot. I'm really surprised I didn't know anything about it!

I don't remember the theater but I was young then. They did a great job of bringing together a huge cast.

So I just saw this and hope you will see this, and this movie is one of the big reason WWII is one the time periods I try to learn as much as I can. I highly recommend Masters of the Air a new show on Apple Tv following the 100th Bomb Group, 8th Air Force during there time in Europe. For context the Belle was in the 91st Bomb Group, 8th Air Force. A few years ago the replica plane they built [built exactly as it would have been in the 40s] was on tour and I flew on it, and was a such an amazing experience. The reason aircrews loved the B-17 Flying Fortress was that was exactly that, a Fortress and could also take a beating

Hello and welcome! WWII history is endlessly fascinating. I still need to see Band of Brothers and The Pacific, but this new one sounds great too!
