THIS WAS SO MUCH FUN OMGGDJSFLAFBJDSVFA

This reaction felt so new to me because this is the first time I've ever reacted to a movie. It made me want to do more reactions that are slightly out of my norm. So let me know if you have any ideas.

Anywaaayyy this was such a random storyline lol and I feel like it could have been a lot more creative and intricate BUUTTTTTT this is the first kpop group animation i've ever come across so I enjoyed it nontheless.

and OMG THE FRICKEN SOUNDTRACK? THE SONGS ARE SO GOOD I WAS JAAAMMIINNGGGGGGG.. actually I didn't really care for the boys songs but the girls songs were SO FIRE!

I had so much fun watching, hope you love it as much as I did! And yes I may have cried HAHAHAHAHA WTFmdklhf;aeobfa

I liked Huntrix’ music, Saja Boys’ not so much. Loved the movie though, great fun! And Abby reminds me of San. 😆 You’re talking about a Tenacious D song and I know what you mean but can’t remember a song title.

The kdrama ost you recognized was from business proposal. They used it as a way to introduce jinu who was voiced by the main character from business proposal

Exekyute (Kyu)

lol no not eaJ, but I get why you thought of him. XD I actually thought of EJel when I first read EJAE’s name in the credits even though I have heard of EJAE because she wrote my favorite Red Velvet song “Psycho”.

Duda

This is was a very fun and well made movie. I am quite on the opposite end, I liked the boys music way more, Your Idol is on heavy rotation. From the girls I liked Done Done Done. Btw, there are a lot of edits on TikTok with Done Done Done and Domino, they are very similar in the beat! Also, one of the creators mentioned that the initial scene in the Your Idol performance with Abby singing was inspired by Hyunjin AoTM :)

Jamie

oh yeiii!!! can't wait to watch your reaction ! 💜

Jamie

I feel like your idol is so Ateez/ Enhypen coded and is my fave song, I been bopping away to that one lol. Also you cringing at that one tiny moment of aegyo goo goo gaga like hello Joohoney come through 😆 Thanks Mel loved watching again with you 😊

Melanie Lillis

Omg she wrote Psycho? Wow that’s cool. Her voice is amazing 🤯😍😍😍 And omg I went to reply to your message just before but figured I’ll write it here - I’m SO EXCITED TO HEAR JUNHEE’S COVER 🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈

Melanie Lillis

I’m excited to actually understand all the edits now LOL I had seen a few in passing! But now I’ll actually recognise them 😍

Melanie Lillis

Ummm maybe Golden but I’m going to listen to them all again lol

Melanie Lillis

Hahahahahaha you know I cannot deal with aegyo 😂😂however shoutout to cutie dimple boy 🤣❤️❤️❤️

Exekyute (Kyu)

Make sure to let me know what you think!!

I was instantly obsessed with Soda Pop, Golden, and What It Sounds Like. Your Idol grew in me. The Track sounds a lot better than the movie, the intro to the song is insane. My favorite song has to be What it Sounds Like. Such an empowering song.

Rina

It was so much fun watching this with you! I’m glad you did this reaction because I didn’t want to pay the Netflix subscription 😅.

pia_universe

Im obsessed with the songs….Playing all day today at work…. gonna watch it again with u for the 3rd time….

GrBs87

Yay! I was hoping you'd react/watch this and it's always fun watching with you. The songs are super good and kpop coded. My ear-worm song is Soda Pop but my fav is What it Sounds Like. But Takedown is so good, of course it's Twice. 😊

Madiya

finally watching this! EJAE's voice gave me goosebumps multiple times! animated shows/movies make me tear up all the time, some have even made me bawl so have no shame! haha

Although watching this with you makes it the 3rd time I have watched the show, I am a bit torn by some of what I think of as some underlying themes. 1) girl group = good, boy group = demon 2) to me, the girl group vocals are more "western" sounding, and the boy group vocals are more "kpop" sounding. So, again, western = good, Kpop = demon Interestingly, although I prefer kpop boy group music, I was with you, I preferred Huntr/x songs to the Saja Boy songs 100% - the only Saja boys song I cared for was "Idol". However, when listening to the lyrics, I feel like the song kind of makes fun of us kpop fans - how much we love and invest in our groups (giving them our souls). I have a friend who is friends with the person who developed this show, and she says there was no negative intention. But, this feels just a little like a slap at Kpop fans and boy groups in general. However, if this show brings more fans in, then I am all for it. And yes, Ejae's vocals are INSANE - it makes sense when I saw she trained with SM for 10 years. Sadly she never debuted (according to Wikipedia, it was due to being too old). So, I am happy that her talent is now heard.

I just finished Watching Kpop demon hunter but I saw in in Korean because I hate watching a movie like that and a Kpop group do a song for a animation movie I think it’s not fair watching it in English because it’s my opinion but I like it so much the Korean language. The movie is incredible And the three members of Twice who made Takedown are incredible has always
