I think Chan was listed as an arranger several times before. The one who participated on arranging for the first time is changbin in track 6 (DLC). He was listed as an arranger alongside the producer Restart who he worked with in making Snain.

i also love when we get to see their natural skin color/texture, those whitewashing/airbrushed filters they usually film with are so annoying! like they're literally glowing in this video (and in person)

23:51 all the members have credits in the "mixtapes" that's the project, where all the members write their parts, i mean the 8 of them write on every skz mixtape Chan's explanation about the arrangements and composition: https://twitter.com/threerachans/status/1325002460503527425 I think so, I think that someone makes the song (composer) and the arrangement rearranges it (? Maybe he adds new sounds or modifies some existing ones. And I think they always have an arrangement, but in the shows they don't usually show that part of the credits, if I'm not mistaken hahaha. I think the first time channie had credits in the arrangement was in Noeasy or oddinary i don't remember well but not this cb, I think what this cb was given for the first time is CHANGBIN first credit arrangement♥ omgggggg that was so much aegyoooo i hate aegyo too, it's like cringe but sometimes kinda like it depends on the persons is doing it, idk is so awkward hahaha 80% of times i dont like it

my concentration in college was music business, and now i work in royalties so i had to learn a lot about the differences between composer, arranger, lyricist, and producer and how that factors into how people get paid. i love to talk about music stuff so forgive me if i go off on a little tangent haha. most of it is self explanatory, but a lyricist will contribute to lyrics. a composer usually deals with song creation, and it has to be a new creation. an arranger will take what a composer did and tweak it, sometimes change the structure of it, almost like a derivative work of that composition, and that's also when it can kind of get into producing territory. if you look at the beginning of their kingdom performances, where they covered a lot of songs, 3racha were listed as arrangers on those performances because they were taking someone else's existing work and arranging it for their performance, sometimes even their own songs. with some of the skz replay album and their solo songs, chan's listed as composer and arranger of these because he made a lot of the tracks, but not credited as lyricist because the other members wrote the lyrics to those songs. hope this all makes sense haha. also these were very very very good looks for them and i think they wore them for a music show performance as well as the relay dance for side effects.

Ahhhh it was Changbin!!!!! I went back to the comment and it said that. I am sad it wrong. Yay that’s so awesome

Melanie Lillis

YES! It was Changbin. I misread the persons comment! So cool though. What a group to stan 😍

Melanie Lillis

Ahhhhh ok that makes sense!!!! Will there always be an arranger? Like what if Chan makes a song from scratch and then just continues to work on that song until it’s released?

Kasia 😈

Compose is about this when for example Han did a song in 2020 and in 2023 he decided to released it in for example SKZ-RECORDED then he asking Chan dose he can change it a little bit then Chan did an arranger this what he got from Han. And in this process finally song is ready. ♥

Madiya

there’s not always an arranger because that deals with more with the structure of the song and adding or taking away instrumentation. if he were to work on a song until it’s released, that’s more of a producer role. a person can do both of those things, and sometimes i wonder if they use those terms interchangeably because he does both. there’s also someone who will mix and master the songs, so especially with albums, he’s probably wouldn't be the last person to touch the song before it’s release.

Aryanna Jay

Think of it like composing chan makes the song right, but he needs someone else’s ears to hear for example mistakes or things that would elevate a song so he gives it to someone to help fix those mistakes that his ears might not here and to make the song sound more polished.

My god Mel… are you ok? 🤣🤣🤣 Seriously though, Changbin’s skin was glowing. He looked so good, they all did.

Melanie Lillis

I think the peppero game is in the extra clip! I’ll do that next week. And yes I’ve watched that clip. I’m not sure what it’s called either. I know the brackets at the start say “into the unknown” and then at the end it says “dance practice room” so maybe it’s just called dance practice room? I’m not at home to be able to check the spreadsheet lol

Naps4Life

Not gonna lie, seeing you cringe over their aegyo makes it more bearable. 😂
