Finnish Guards' Rifles were naturally issued clothing for colder seasons, most notably a gray woolen "sinelli". For winter there existed a special hood that could be worn over the cap. Some items were either lacking or not warm enough, so it was common (or expected) for soldiers to use some civilian garments underneath the uniforms.

For summer months, the Finnish Guard wore lighter white trousers and white cover for their caps.

(I'm not 100% sure about the tunic worn in summer, some sources say it's the normal 1873 model and others claim all Guard's regiments had green tunics in summer. I'll have to look into it more)
