KVKK is such a silly weapon, everybody hates it but it's fun to shoot because of the high RPM, the charging handle grip is goofy and it's really ugly and outdated design. I love it.

I guess the Finns learned their lesson the first time around and ponied up for the PKM rather than trying to design a Czech inspired 7.62mm x39mm from the ground up. During the Cold War, Finnish neutrality was a product of their peace settlement with Stalin circa 1944 so their equipment choices tended to reflect that but they thought could design their own small arms. IOW instead of adopting the RPD- like everybody else that were in the Soviet camp or influenced by Moscow- they cranked out teh KK62/KvKK; the tiny feed cover and the pistol grip doubling as a cocking handle is very Czech although I can't explain that funky buttstock.
