So one of the patrons getting a commission was asking about a more explicit image and i had to turn that idea down more or less, now I kind of feel like I need to explain my thoughts of doing x rated pics for commissions.

The thing is I have no like moral objection to x rated art, allot of my fave artists draw such things, that being said I have chosen not to draw such things from the public.

The main reason being is that I want to some day get a job working somewhere doing art and x rated art can hurt ones chances, at least that's what I have heard. Now i know what some of you are thinking...

"But i know artists X and they work for Company Y and they draw x rated stuff."

I know people like that too, I could name names but I won't. The thing its not so black and white if some thing is or isn't ok, some places would frown upon it and others wont care. I would rather not hinder my chances in any major way, other then my being shy.

Also people have been mean to me online for less, so id rather not give them more ammunition.

That's why I feel staying at like a Tv MA rating (like on TV not a streaming service cuz TV is a bit more strict) max with the art would be best for now.

Dunno if that makes sense but I thought I would let you all know, I hope i can keep making art for you all, thanks again for all the support and putting up with my issues heh

What was it exactly? if you dont mind me asking, Would be a good way for the rest of us to see the limits of what you are willing to accept.

I think it's entirely reasonable to keep that as the focus. Taking that dip does potentially open up issues so hey, I support whatever makes you feel comfortable!

Well the pose they showed me as reference was two women in sort of a scissoring position. I felt the pose was a bit too sexual
