I've been wrestling with this for ages, but it's getting much more concrete this year. I've written up a blog post talking about my plans for a compilation, which will be a Kickstarter.

If you're keen for one of the options presented, are dying for something different, or if you've run a kickstarter and have concerns, I'd love to hear your thoughts!

Kickstarter Plans

Time to talk a little bit about my upcoming adventure compilation, which I'm going to Kickstart this year. All of this is tentative, but I figured it can only be helpful to open up my plans and get some feedback. What will it be? I'm taking all of my adventures, and putting them into a book.

I'm really interested in the landscape format and I'd love to see that in a printed book! I'm been toying with the idea of doing a monster manual that way myself, so I'll be really interested to see what the reception is like if you manage to put that out (which I'm sure you will). I'll definitely be backing this, anyway.

I'd like to see your big campaign map as a poster for either an add-on or stretch goal.

I am working very hard to not buy any more hard copies of things. I don't have any place to put books any more. Digital storage is cheap and universally accessible (thank you cloud).

The saddle-stitch and PDF versions appeal the most to me

The few art books, comics, rpg games or supplements that I have supported through KS such as the second edition of Exlipse Phase, have been for the pdf version given that postage costs for the print version of the book to Spain, tend to increase the original pledge , sometimes even doubling the original pledge. Of course if I am supporting a US based or Australian based KS project, opting for print copy is a direct no no. The balance lies with financing the print run, or opting for adding much more material in Pdf format than a print version would allow. I love the smell and touch of paper and would choose that option for a volume of exceptional value, seeing as have a horrible tendency to hoard pdfs in the cloud which will never see the light of day, and are a nightmare for referencing. Given the very high quality of your work Michael, I think I would opt for paper, but again it ll depend on mail costs.

I just bumped on this page but I have to say the perspective, style and detail of your dungeon drawings is very impressive and definitely a source for inspiration. Really nice work Michael :)

Sorry for the late reply, but: This sounds great, especially the bestiary bit. Your adventures/scenarios are already awesome, but having a few pages of beasts without stat-details would be nice. I'm not crazy about stats as a stretch-goal; I'd rather just have more of them, or more illustrations/paintings. Will KS, it'll be great to have all these things I've printed and slapped into a binder sitting on the shelf as an actual book.
