Good Monday everyone!

The weather here on Malta is trying its best to sabotage me. We've got winds up to 110km/h (68 mph for my friends across the pond). And just two days ago, a lightning bolt hit our neighbor's backyard. A massive BOOM! I was at my computer, and all my screens went black for a solid 10 seconds while the lights flickered like in a horror movie. Let me tell you, it was properly scary.

On top of that, the rain's causing some light flooding. Turns out our door's rain guard has a fatal design flaw: it doesn't work if the wind hits it from a certain angle. Genius. We're lucky, though. I've heard others have had their houses properly flooded. The weather app says this chaos continues through tomorrow. Fingers crossed it calms down, especially because I have to take my dog to the vet for a check-up tonight.

Alright, enough real-life drama. Let's talk about what matters: the game.

🚀 Major Progress: The Story Framework is BUILT

This was a huge week for Mother's Devotion: Reimagined. The core narrative spine is now in place. We have scenes:

✅ Intro to the Story – The catalyst. Done.✅ The Consequence Scene – Rock bottom. Done.✅ The Day After – Waking up to the new reality. Done.✅ Landlord's Introduction – Pressure applied. Done.✅ Sarah's Introduction – Enter the "guide." Done.

This is the crucial foundation. Every one of these scenes establishes tone, conflict, and a key relationship.

📝 What's Next on the Docket

My immediate focus is now on:

Emma's First Scene: Introducing her, her social-media-obsessed personality, and her dreams. This will complete the core household circle.

The First Office Scene: Setting up Clarissa's new workplace, the dynamics there, and that source of stress/opportunity.

Once Emma's intro and the Office setup are done, the world opens up to the player. That's the milestone. You'll have met everyone essential and have your first goals. From there, you start navigating Clarissa's days with actual agency.

🎯 The Roadmap to the First Draft

The plan is solid:

Finish all introductions (Emma + Office).

Open the world for the first internal build.

Start filling the game world with ambient scenes, early interactions, and the first quests.

My goal is to get a robust, playable first draft into your hands (my supporters) for feedback and testing. You'll vet it, play it, and help me polish it long before any public release. That's how we make sure the final product isn't just built, it's honed.

Thank you for riding out the real and virtual storms with me. Back to posing Emma.

Stay safe and dry,Fluffy
