Development Update! (Patreon)

Last week was super productive for me… but also brought a HUGE realization that I need to share with you all first. 😅💥

⚠️ THE BIG BUT(T)…

I noticed something while building Chapter 2: It starts at a point where the ending of Chapter 1 doesn’t make sense. 🤯I never thought of this before, or maybe I just didn’t notice… but now it’s crystal clear!

So here’s what I’m doing about it:

✅ Building a TRUE Ending for Chapter 1. This will be available for both Public and Fluffy Editions. It’ll tie everything together properly.

🚫 Delaying the Public Release of Chapter 2. Until Chapter 1 has its proper conclusion, I won’t release it publicly… but if you’re a supporter? You get early access! 😏💖

Basically: You guys will be playing Chapter 2 months before anyone else. Consider this your exclusive perk for being part of the Fluffy Family! 🐾🎉

🚀 What I’ve Done This Week (Chapter 2 Progress!)

Despite the chaos, here’s what’s actually been built:

🏠 Maps & Locations

✨ Pearl’s Apartment: Day and Night versions of her beautiful new home.

💼 3 Office Locations:

HQ (where Pearl does work)

Open Plan Office (story-related)

Archive Room (another story location)

🎮 Gameplay Features

⌨️ 2 Interactive Mini-Games: Simple typing mechanics where you click the keyboard and text appears on screen. Makes office work feel more… real!

📋 Dynamic Menus: Depending on your progress, different menus unlock each time you restart. Every reopening of the game feels fresh!

🎨 Characters & Content

👥 Multiple Characters Created: Most importantly, two key characters (one revealed last week, the other coming very soon 😉).

🏠 Intro Started: Map built + 1 character created for Chapter 2’s opening.

💃 House Animations: Some animations around the apartment and scenes where you use household items.

🎵 Soundtrack

🎶 4 Songs Added (2 Mashups): The audio is starting to come together! Not full soundtrack yet, but it’s there for now.

This week I’ll continue building out Chapter 2… and then shift focus to the Poll Winner: Expanding Work Questlines! 🏆

Next Month’s Focus:

📖 Chapter 1 Story Beats: Three major story beats need to be added before the True Ending can make sense.

💿 First DLC Planning: Already mapped out and ready to be created! This will expand Mia’s Acting Career storyline.

💬 The Reality Check

There is so much planned and not enough time to do it all. 😅 But I look forward to creating every single piece of this game with you guys! This isn’t just about finishing, it’s about making sure the story makes sense, the characters feel real, and the ending hits hard. 💪🐾
