Yesterday was Father's Day, and I enjoyed some quality time with the family. We had a great BBQ and the sun was absolutely merciless. 🥵

Where I live, it's getting way too warm. I'm a winter person at heart. I simply cannot stand the heat. 😅

Anyway, belated Happy Father's Day to any dads reading this!

🎮 Game Development Update

Now, onto what's been done regarding the game:

📍 Location WorkI've been continuing work on both story and gameplay elements, mostly focusing on locations. I've created the big map, which will serve as your main navigation hub for the first act.

Act 1 will feature 5 maps:

🏠 Dorm

📚 Library

🏋️ Gym

🩺 Nurse

📖 Classroom

Each location, except the Library, will come with its own unique characters. 👀

⚙️ Content Creep Warning!I'm going to try my best to keep each act sweet and short. I have a big issue with content creep. I just cannot stop myself once I get going! I already have a lot planned, so I need to stay disciplined.

🛠️ Logic & CodingCurrently, I'm focused on working out the logic. A lot of the logic code has to live in the main game because if I add any logic clues to the main game and then remove the DLC, the game breaks. (Duh! 😅) Which means that going forward, each time I update the DLC with new content, you will need to update the main game as well. I will try my best to minimise that of course.

📱 A Note for Mobile-Only Players

I haven't forgotten about you! 🙏

I know the mobile situation has been tricky with the 4GB Ren'Py limit, but I want to reassure you: you will get your promised free DLC.

📲 The Plan for Mobile:

I'll be creating a standalone Android version of the DLC

Since I'm aiming to keep the DLC relatively short, it shouldn't exceed the 4GB limit

I'm hoping the DLC will stay under 1GB, but... I know myself. 😅 I have a tendency to just keep adding.

Once I have a good chunk of content ready, I'll package it as a separate Android-only standalone so mobile players can enjoy it too.

⏳ Timeline:

I ask for a little more patience while I build out the content. As soon as I have enough to release, mobile players will get their version, promise!
