1. Part – “Quiet in the Barnyard”
Runny knelt by the barn, breathing in the cool scent of earth and hay. The summer breeze rustled the flowers by the fence, carrying with it the distant sounds of livestock. Yet inside her chest, instead of calm, a strange restlessness stirred—like something beneath her skin was waiting to awaken.

2. Part – “Ears and Tail”
A sudden pressure built on top of her head. She reached up instinctively and froze—two tall, furred ears had pushed through her hair, twitching at every sound around the barnyard. At the same moment, a new weight pulled at the base of her spine. A short, restless tail flicked against the ground, moving on its own. Runny gasped. This wasn’t her body anymore.

3. Part – “The Fur Spreads”
Heat surged down her arms and legs. Her skin rippled and dark fur, mottled with golden and white patches, spread like wildfire across her limbs. Her fingers curled as nails hardened into claws, and her feet reshaped to hold her weight differently. She collapsed to the ground, finding herself forced into a four-legged stance, her body reshaping against her will.

4. Part – “The Final Shift”
Runny’s face began to stretch forward. Her nose blackened, her jawline pushed outward, and sharp teeth filled her mouth. Her eyes glowed with a wild amber light as her hearing sharpened beyond anything human. She tried to scream, but what came out was a broken bark—raw, guttural, and alien. The transformation was complete; the girl she once was no longer stood in the barnyard.

5. Part – “Awareness”
On the grass outside the barn, Runny drew in heavy breaths through her new muzzle. Every sound rang sharp and clear—the buzz of insects, the rustle of leaves, even the heartbeats of animals nearby. Scents overwhelmed her senses, painting a vivid map of the farmyard. Shock and wonder flooded her mind as she realized the truth: Runny was no longer human. She was an African Wild Dog, seeing the world with primal clarity for the first time.
