People aren't going to keep paying to support your game if you don't, you know, make the game

The Teller

I don’t usually speak out like this, but I feel someone has to. As a fellow game developer (who's work on severals games), I can understand a lot—like wanting to share your ideas and artwork with the community, which I’ve always found really cool. I also understand how challenging and overwhelming game development can be. Sometimes you hit a wall, need a break, or even feel like giving up. That said, there are things I’m genuinely not okay with. It’s been over half a year since the last actual update—not even a playable build, just a proper dev log. Meanwhile, what we’re seeing looks less like development and more like content farming on Patreon. And who could blame you? You're making at least $8,000 a month through your patrons by posting mostly art. But here’s the problem: many of your supporters feel like the game has become a front—an excuse to share content that might not even be tied to a real, ongoing project. I’m not here to accuse or attack. I’m asking for transparency. If the project is stalled or on hold, just say so. If it’s still in development, even better—but show that with something real. Even just one dev log a month with a few screenshots (not locked behind a paywall) would go a long way. I still believe Spooky Milk Life has the potential to be one of the best H-games in the last decade. And to the people asking for a new Steam demo, I honestly think the current one is fine. It gives a great taste of what the game could be. Finally, if anything I’ve said comes off as hurtful, I sincerely apologize. I’m only speaking up because I care about this project, the community, and the work as a game Dev. I hope you’ll read this and take it to heart. For my part I'll stop my subscription to your Patreon I think I've been patient enough, and I'll maybe come back if there a major update or even a serious Dev log.

Honestly this game died long ago from neglect on the developer's part, It HAD potential but with what I saw and even see now they don't care about making the game but just farm the content like you said, It happens alot when some developers get to cocky and act like they don't need to finish a project.
