February Patreon Update - This One Packs a Punch! (Patreon)

Welcome to February, and welcome to a new era of Patreon assets from us! In case you missed the last update, we’re in the process of moving the 2025 assets over to Gumroad in order to continue releasing new assets in a way that is both rewarding to our longtime supporters, and cost-effective to the studio in the long term.

The crew is working harder than ever to create animations for you guys to enjoy - did you catch our newest videos for Wuthering Waves, Arknights, and Zenless Zone Zero yet? Our featured asset release for this month comes from one of these shorts. Read on to find out which one!

Our rescheduled January Professor’s Reel Review stream will take place TONIGHT!! Join us in the Discord server at 8PM CST today, February 6th, for the long-awaited reel review session! Plus, this stream will be longer than a usual stream, to give more people the chance to have their demo reels seen. Even if you didn't submit, this is an incredible opportunity to dive into what makes a demo reel stand out to potential collaborators or employers, so you don’t want to miss it!

We’ll have an update about January’s Professor Review VOD after the stream happens, so check back for that recording later.

This month, in lieu of the typical stream schedule, we’ll be holding two Crew Animator Streams! The first one will have fan-favorite Mirabeau Studios back animating some shortform content - they’ll be streaming on Thursday, February 19th at 8PM CST. The following week, the studio’s marketing coordinator Tayler will be streaming some short form content tips, and answering your questions about how to grow your social media presence in the age of new and confusing algorithms. Her stream will take place on Thursday, February 26th at 8PM CST. Neither of these streams will be recorded, so set your alarms!

Next month’s Professor Animation Review theme is the Combo Challenge! [Head over here to read all the submission info]. We’ll be giving you twice as long to really polish this animation, so the due date won’t be until Tuesday, March 24th. The stream will be held on Thursday, March 26th at 8PM CT! Click here for the rules and how to submit.

This month’s Asset Pack is the Knockout Pack, featuring the Boxing Arena from our Wuthering Waves short, and the Traveller’s Knapsack from our CashApp spot! Click here to read all about them!

With so many opportunities to join us on stream this month, make sure your Discord accounts are linked to Patreon and that you’ve joined the DillonGoo community server! There’s a whole community of animators and animation fans waiting to meet you :D

SEE YOU SOON!
