September Patreon Update - Your Soul Mart First Look! (Patreon)

Happy September, everyone! And an extra-special hello to anyone who’s joined us after the Twitch stream - we’re so excited to have you! If you haven’t already, make sure to join us over on the community Discord server, so you can receive up-to-the-minute updates on everything we’re doing.

We’ve been hard at work at the studio, ramping up production on Soul Mart (and working on a few more surprise projects as well 👀). Here’s what we’ve got for the September update!

Apprentice Goo is now Insider Goo!

As mentioned last month, our “Apprentice” tier is heading in a new direction, as we begin to peel back the curtain on all things Soul Mart (and a few other things thrown in from time to time). Now, whether you’re an apprentice animator or a fan of behind the scenes content, you’ll find incredible works-in-progress and the occasional production-ready asset all in this one tier.

This means that over in Discord, the doors to Soul Mart are open! The #behind-the-scenes channel has reactivated for you to ask questions and talk about what we release. You may even see a response from the crew directly!

Try out our new tool, Flattice!

We're giving our members here the first look at our newest custom Blender addon release, which we call "Flattice". Create easy face-flattening lattices on your characters and achieve flattering shapes in camera!

We plan to have a wide release of this tool soon, but if you can't wait to get your hands on it, click here for the download information.

Goo Physics 1.0.6 is out!

In case you missed it, there’s a new update to Goo Physics. Any user having issues with Blender 5.2 compatibility should update immediately, as this patch fixes the errors some of you were having. If you don't already have Goo Physics, you can get it from our website.

Your Inside Look this month is at our all-new Kieru and Sarina character design sheets. Redesigned from the ground-up, we’re giving you a first glimpse at what the world of Soul Mart looks like - and why it’s different from what you saw in the trailer last year. Read all about it here.

This month’s Goo Crew Community Stream will feature Ramen! He’s taking suggestions for what to stream, so be sure to head over to Discord and vote in the stream poll! That stream will take place on Discord on Thursday September 10, 2026 at 9:00 PM CST.

The theme for this month’s Professor Animation Review is “Ballin’” 😎 We’re looking for animations that feature a ball in some way - how you do that is on you! Head over here for all the requirements and submission instructions. This stream will take place back on Discord on Thursday, September 17th at 9PM CST.
