Thank you for the Christmas Cheer wishes. May you and your loved ones enjoy a happy & relaxing Christmas. Also thank you for your example in boldness for sketching. Watching you work gave me courage to push myself beyond my previous practice. Feeling good.

Hiya Scottie, I may not have been sharing my work, not enough courage! But your tutorials have been a Godsend for me, I have done many of them and I have learned so much. Your style is what inspired me to sign up to your tutorials, but then I got hooked because of your teaching style too. So I wish to you and your lovely family a Merry Christmas and a Prosperous and Peaceful New Year, and I thank you so much for your fabulous tutorials. P.S would love to see one landscape tutorial if possible 🌴

Oh yes that Vespa looks like a fiddly number to get down on paper, and all those shiny reflections. You're keeping us on our toes! I'm soooooo happy that you've lined up birds for us. I'll be moving to a new home in a coastal ornithological reserve next summer and I've started thinking about how to sketch seabirds and herons and storks, geese and ducks. I wish you and your family the happiest, sunniest, jingliest belled Christmas and above all restful holidays.

Wow where has this year gone Scottie? I think I’ve been here for 18 months now and I have enjoyed every moment! Thanks for all your hard work, it’s been a joy each week to sketch along with you. Wishing you and your beautiful family a very happy, healthy and prosperous new year. Happy holidays 🏖️🧑‍🎄⛵️

Howdy, Scottie :-D. I Completely Agree with Everyone, especially what Sultana said :-D ! After you have come back from your Holidays, completely refreshed :-D, I was wondering if you would consider adding to your 2025 Teaching Goals List a few thingies :-D. I have mentioned dappled sunlight through trees (so beautiful) & waterfalls previously (have a Japanese Garden with small waterfalls flowing between each level on my To Do List). I will also confess - My Brains struggle with the Shadowing & Highlighting. I can't grasp anything other than Sun Direction & get mighty confused about why shadowing underneath things & highlighting edges don't go in the direction of the sun...? My Brains have No 3D in them at all. I just like Pretty Things :-D.

Merry Christmas, Scottie. I hope you and your family have a wonderful vacation. I grew up near Santa Monica, California and for me there is no Christmas if there is no beach! I look forward to sketching with you in the New Year.

Scottie, Merry Christmas to you and your family. I want to thank you for opening up the idea that watercolor doesn’t have to involve ten years of learning to make cool paintings.
