UPCOMING TUTORIAL:   Friday 14th February: People Sketching (Detailed sketch)

This Friday we'll be sketching this lady walking in a side on view. It's a really good pose for measuring arm/leg lengths. I also like the clothing which will be a nice challenge.

Let me know if there is anything you'd like me to teach in the tutorial in the comments below!

WHAT'S COMING UP:

Friday 21st February: Urban Sketching Buildings (Front View)

Friday 28th February: Portrait Sketching (Front View Fundamentals)

Friday 7th March: How To Sketch Flowers (Multiple Sketches)

I always mess up the shoulders and as a result the arms. Hoping you give a few tips how the shoulders should be.

Elaine

I have problems with the shoulder furthest away (especially when you can’t see that arm).

I will travel to New York City and Boston in March and want to sketch there. Subway or train stations and any public transportation facilities are the subjects I particularly wish to sketch. So please tell us tips on how to do that.
