You are a terrific teacher. My desire to work at sketching has improved immensely. Thank you. For Oct 10th, (my 74th Birthday), a Fender telecaster or Stratocaster leaning against a Fender twin reverb amp. A suggestion.

I can't wait to do the water reflections tutorial. I always find the ripples in the water a challenge.

Leo Wilson

I think I will be challenged trying to draw two Perspectives; Is the perspective of the building reflection (s) in the water the same. Do we achieve the correct perspective s proportionally on the water reflection as above on the wharf ....ps as always looking forward to your teaching us.

Rich Kay

Rich - Sketching with Scottie has opened up a new world to me.

Aimee

I’m really excited for this one!

Patricia

Looking forward to this one, Scottie. I love learning techniques like reflection that can be applied to other scenes I want to try on my own. The other technique I’d love to learn more about is how to paint a large expanse of grass, wildflowers, shrubbery with a subject in the distance. You’re the best!

I think the challenge like these are how to keep it simple? there are s many possible lines due to water ripples so I always make my sketched too messy without able to actually show the reflections

Lorna Graham

I can be too heavy handed with reflections so looking forward to this challenge Scottie.

Dania

I am looking forward to sketch this boat shed and shadows.

John

I think this is a very useful exercise for me as I struggle with water and reflections. Looking forward to it.

Craig Livaich

I would keep it simple and study the subject judicially. Concentrate on the building. I struggle with over drawing the subject, and visa me pencil lines are my nemesis. I am looking forward to this one as I have a subject foto I took which I really want to paint. Many art decco style buildings with reflections. It’s one of my favorite places. Capitola CA. - The view from the balcony of Mr. Toots coffee house.

the small bridge reflection and the ladder reflections seem to be a problem.
