Update / New markers / testing new style (Patreon)

Hi Everyone and very warm welcome to our new members! I really appreciate your support! 

Update: I've been working on another exclusive Patreon video where I'm going to answer a question asked by Tanya so that's coming soon. I missed a Youtube video last week as some family commitments came up but I am very excited about creating my next video using some of my new markers that you can see above. 

I bought these Tombow dual tip markers and they are really nice. Great colours and about half the cost of a Copic marker. They are water-based so different to the Alcohol based markers I have used before. 

You can see in the photo the ink sits more 'on top' of the paper and doesn't bleed through to the page behind. I like the idea of not wasting paper so I can sketch on the back of each sketch page! The colours don't really seem to mix well like alcohol markers but I like the result in this sketch (it could be because of the paper I'm using). 

I am planning on making a YouTube from this reference or something similar. This is a bit of a crazy sketch but I love this idea of giving the sketch 'splashes' of colour. This style was inspired by my recent video where I reviewed an urban sketching course by Albert Kiefer. I really wanted to bring some of his technique to my sketches.
