I'll show you step by step how to sketch a tram with correct perspective.

Thanks for voting in the poll! This was a very interesting and challenging reference to sketch. With all the details to get right in perspective I tried my best to keep the looseness!😊

Using pencil to mark the basic structure is helpful. I've been using it with your other tutorials. I find it serves as a rough guide while still having the freedom to create expressive lines. A couple questions: 1. What's the ratio of water to colour for the light wash? 2. How long do let the ink dry before applying the wash?

I was wondering how you squeezed two extra pans into the Kuretake set that usually only holds 14 1/2 pans. Also, I am having trouble finding individual 1/2 pan replacements for Kuretake. Any ideas. loved the tutorial by the way.

Thanks Scottie. That is a relief. I think that I prefer WN anyway. I like Kuretake but half pans are hard to come by.

Thank you for this. If you could highlight the edges of the top of the hus that you drew on the reference sheet itself next time, I'd really appreciate it. I think it'll help me to follow the edges of the silhouette that you're seeing. I couldn't quite follow that since the top of the bus is messy and complicated.

Thanks, Scottie. Drawing in pencil the eye level line and the overall shape of the object is helpful!

I almost gave up on the perspective. I had it penciled in my sketchbook all wrong. I came back to it a day later, I could see I had the top line slanting the wrong way. . it made more sense then. .

This was so helpful. The way you explained and simplified perspective made things click! Thank you very much :-)

Hi Scottie, could you please tell me which exact shade you mean when you are using pink for the background? Thank you!:)

Very wonky drawing for me but I'm glad I did it and it will probably be better next time. Thank you!
