I've had a few people ask me to sketch a vintage car again so I thought the time has come!  They are a really good challenge and something that can be included in any urban sketching project.

Which car would you prefer to sketch?

(I am currently cycling between sketching people, buildings, urban objects and portraits with these tutorial projects. I also am continuing to create fundamental tutorials in the background that take more time. The next one is how to sketch people for beginners with all the basics and detailed proportions all in one place)

Both vehicles have interesting attributes but I'll choose 1. Additionally, I'm very much looking forward to the 'basics and detailed proportions all in one place' tutorial. I find bits and pieces throughout videos which makes it a bit challenging to put it all together.

May I suggest (vintage) planes as one of the future tutorials?

#1- the curves seem like they might be more challenging? (To me!) Thanks Scottie!

Your cycling approach is great idea. It appeals to a larger audience. Well done!

Love curves of all sorts, so the VW Bug it is.

Not being a car person it is hard for me to choose. I did choose the second but would be happy with either. Maybe I should draw a car with feet instead of wheels

I missed the July 4th deadline. But, the Mini for me. Then a deux chevaux --- I didn't spot one last year in Australia, but...photo. They were painted in wild and sometimes beautiful combinations.
