TUTORIAL FOR THIS WEEK: Urban Objects - Boats

Boats are a great opportunity for us to practice loose and sketchy line work! My favourite one here is #3 with all its ropes and chains. But what do you think? The silhouette of these other boats are more distinctive and it made me wonder what you thought was the most eye catching at first glance. Let me know below which interests you most!

I voted for 3 because it looks more difficult to draw something on the left if that makes sense. I really like 1 as well.

Boat #1 is my first choice and #4 is my second choice. I like the colours as well as the refections.

Boat 2 looks challenging: it's shape, the complexity of the background, and a figure that almost looks too tall for the boat 🙂. I would like to see how you simplify the scene.

I like 1 and 4 Scottie. I like their bright colors and especially the reflection in the water of 4.

#1 draws my eye to it, but #2 provides a good challenge with the shape of the bow and stern. Frankly, #3 looks like a nightmare!

Number 2 a lot of details to be patient and 4 reflections and water with sky how to make the difference between them. Not good in painting water,
