TUTORIAL FOR THIS WEEK:  Urban Objects - Car Sketching Challenge

This week we are sketching ALL these cars as there are two important tips we need to practice to sketching them correctly! Even though we are sketching all three, I'd love to know which is your favourite one and why in the poll below 👇.

UPDATE:

I'm currently away for on a break with my family at the beach this week, probably covered in sand and digging castles for my two girls 😊. I hope you are all well and enjoying these sketching challenges. I'll be still checking out the comments and would love to see your work in the chat.

I voted for 1 because it's such a cute car and probably fun to draw. But 3 is downright scary (and probably what I should draw). Impossible angle...perspective....Yikes! But interesting to see what the majority chooses.

I like one or three also but I voted for three. For some reason I find cars hard to draw fast. I end up correcting the tires and I worry about now much chrome detail you need.

I voted for the yellow mini because it brings back treasured memories. We were married in England 57 years ago and our first car was an old mini minor. My husband was in the US Airforce and I flew over there and we married there and lived there the first two years of married life. There is a funny story behind the car… treasured memories. 👍😊

Car 1 has a cute shape, and car 2 a cute colour. Car 3 has attitude. I vote for all of them. Funny you should mention the beach. I was wondering if sketching 'people on the beach' might be coming up as a subject matter some time.
