This isn't a canon episode it's just a collection of vaguely interesting chit-chat and outtakes from the last couple of sessions. If you have any chores that will take exactly 37 minutes and 41 seconds this is a good one to listen to while you toil.

The fascinating thing about Octopuses is that they have a disseminated nervous system throughout their entire body. So each tentacle can coordinate with the others while operating independently when required, sort of like a parallel distributed system. Watch a video of them working their way through a tube maze or whatnot and yeah I don't think Danny could have known how good an analogy it was in hindsight (minus the jewy connotation that can have... which come to think of it does kinda gel with the LaRouche angle as yikes just peruse Drugs Inc. and see if it can be read without the JewBol vibes they imply). Also just food for thought but capital requires new frontiers and methods to offset the TRPtF which can only be offset by enhanced organic composition due to technical and funding constraints without alternatives, thus the Volker shock plunges much of the world into crisis; gives creditors a massive boost for near a decade in interest earned; causes mass foreclosure particularly in farmers many of which turn to fascist militias as communism is anathema; begins or continues mass destabilization against global rivals finally defeated by unchecked nationalism and plunging commodity values; begins establishment of new international financial and trading rules and begins deregulation of markets and really everything starting from imperial core thus reducing transaction latency; kicks over existing agricultural practices like fallowing rotation or stockpiling pushing another aspect of life into the market completely; etc. Basically continue for a decade until immiseratimg as many as possible while selling monetarist neoliberal snake oil to justify selling off everything that isn't fucking nailed down until the good guy successor in the form of Willy Jeffs appears (as he fucks and assaults every man woman and child) on his way to Congress to push to cement the Reagan/Bush agenda into law. This is further enhanced by Free Trade, Welfare Reform, Crime Bills, and the Financial Securities Modernization Act (I think that's the title but the one where they go ham on leveraged derivatives/MBS) amongst many other things. Of course then 9/11, Foucault's boomerang, fictitious capital, BritishEmpire2FourthReichBathtubFall.gif, accelerated cyclical crisis, yadda yadda yadda. I don't buy that it was all planned because who would put themselves in the position NATO aligned countries are in particularly at the moment? But damn the policies were almost textbook super evil brain genius for a while there. *sorry my brain is fixated on the post WWII world system and especially the era around the fall of the Communist bloc so I felt compelled to write this to no one in particular. Just appreciated the similar ideas.
