A first for the show, as we explore a modern horror classic that has a lot to say about psychopathic hitmen, parapolitical cults and what it's like to need a new Jacuzzi in austerity-era Britain.

Did I hear a brief sample of “To Carry The Seeds of Death Within Me” by The Body in the intro?

Can’t wait to listen. Watched the movie for the first time the other night in preparation. Loved it

This was a fun episode. If you do more stuff in this vein, I'm sure most would enjoy.

Can someone tell me what the artwork that’s used for the show is? What city is that? Would love to see the original picture.

Son of El Topo

Glad to see this movie get some love. It really made an impression on me when I first saw it.

Great episode

Stewart Robertson

It's funny, so many of the film's visuals are burned into my brain, and I hadn't realised it. Hearing you talk about it I can see it all again. Thank you.

Great episode on one of my favourite movies. Is that The Body I hear?

Great film, great episode. This was kinda my take too. One question: why has the corrupt state hired him to terminate the corrupt heads of church and media? Even from a metaphorical fever dream perspective, this doesn't quite stack up...

Love this movie. Episode ruled.

so so good - wouldn't say no to more film analysis in the future
