We go deep on 1980s Arkansas and tie off many loose threads as we barrel towards the end of this epic odyssey into the narcotic, technological psychosphere.

Gonna save this for a lovely long cycle to work in a few hours! Thanks ghost

an incredible denouement to an incredible series, very spooky indeed. left me with a bone deep perplexion as to what sort of a thing ontologically the Deep Machine even is, shaded with horror at the conception of this thing as a sort of secular Archon, the material embodiment of the self-reproducing algorithm of capital itself, the form of our societies made into its flesh.

The long-haul, painstaking lattice-work-building of this series has been so worthwhile and so impressive. Thank you!

i’m loving this series, i just subbed, found you from trueanon! also just a note it would be awesome if you could tag the series as it makes it easier to go back and listen to the earlier episodes :)

I've been listening to this series over the past month, and I'm blown away. You are a very good storyteller, this is an incredible series, and you should be proud of it.

Fantastic episode. The Arkansas stuff is fascinating and I think would make a fantastic series, but clearly won't get made. First heard about it on Death is just around the corner. Can you recommend any books on it that don't fall into the dem vs gop trap? It reminds me of the detectives in blue velvet for some reason.
