It also marks the start of HOMECOMING, or: Disconnected Sketches from the Haunted Kingdom, which will take us up to the next BIG SERIES which begins on HALLOWEEN (it's the one we've been promising for two years).

Can't wait! Out of interest, will you be continuing the books of war series at any stage?

Yes, but I really need to brush up my Italian pronunciation and whatnot because I want to do the story justice. Once the BIG SERIES begins I'll have a better idea of how much time will be free to work on some more BoW episodes.

Thank Christ. I don't have any social media outlet for the psychic damage I suffer daily in this insane fucking nightmare of a joke taken seriously by the tellers called Britain. Reading arch ghoul Tony Blair in the guardian today, popping up like some kind of demon to insist that labour needs to commit to not taxing or spending in the week that starmer committed to not doing anything about kids getting crushed by their school roofs literally falling on them is a level of metaphor beating reality over the head and dragging it's corpse out to the shed in back... Idk what I'm saying, but I need something equally horrific that isn't happening right now to ease the pressure

Simone Meltesen

Lol, yup “something equally horrific that isn’t happening right now” is also exactly what I need right now. Living in NYC under the great fascist Eric Adams is a fucking joke.

so bleak. trashfuture covered this in their latest episode and it’s so insane. neoliberal hell is so wonderful.

Eoin Donnelly

So glad you’re looking at (euphemistic scare quotes) “The Troubles” - the north of Ireland is the structural absence at the heart of the British/English imaginary- left or right - whatever. Still amazed at the lengths people will go to avoid talking about it, or even thinking about it beyond the extremely limited mediatized conception.

LET'S FUCKING GOOOOOO!!

This time, it's personal

I was describing the concept of the return of the repressed (the idea, not the show) to a friend of mine and she said 'What, like Belfast?' And I was blown away tbqh because yeah, NI is 100% Britain's subconscious.
