Hey emi, just going to keep it short here but excellent work on the video 😄, really like how you seem to drag out the process here which made the duration very nice, the sound composition especially was good with each crunch and growth.

Absolutely incredible work!! Looks like there is going to be a 2nd part cant wait to see what happens there

This is the best animation I ever see, amazing work you did EMI. With a duration of 9min of your OC growing and causing a destruction, is amazing. I'm out of words to say, can't wait to see the Part 2. Anyway, as I said. A excellent animation you did ^^

Seeing a 9-minute-long animation is absolutely crazy. Among the few animators in the space, even fewer can make it to this length of video. It certainly isn’t from a lack of trying but is a testament to the sheer level of work and dedication that is required to reach such lengths. I love how you’ve utilized the time to add in extra perspectives. Point-of-view essentially being one of, if not the most important aspect in this genre as it’s instrumental in illustrating both size and scope of the characters and their surroundings. Having the ability to see a scene from multiple angles was an unexpected but welcomed treat which I hope to see again in your future works. It’s something unique I’ve seen only from you thus far and it gave the additional benefit of being able to experience some of my favorite scenes again, but rather than feeling repetitive it gave me a new view that was fresh and felt like I was experiencing the scene for the first time. Alternatively, if you find yourself not wanting to extend an animation from multiple shots like these, perhaps it might be worth trying to mix the two different perspectives together and halving the length. It was great getting to see you ‘expand’ on your OC and her abilities. Fun seeing how she uses them to her own amusement in her mischievous whims. While enjoying small, detailed character traits such as the way she prepares for her growth spurts by bringing herself inward like she’s building up energy before expelling it outwards as she expands. It seems to be becoming somewhat of a running joke that your other OC tends to get the short end of these scenarios which I can say is a fun little gag in the making. Your choice of camera positioning is still one of the best I’ve seen as you really know how to sell the appeal. Excellent work on the sound and score. I liked the fact that you took distance into account with the level of volume. Important to take note of the size of the object relative to the noise along with the distance from the camera that the action is taking place. While also taking care to add sounds that accentuated each object in the work. Even something like a screaming populous really helps set the mood for the oncoming event. Hands down best part was the disappearance into the deafening silence as you simply knew what was coming next. Those little bits of expectation just before the reveal are some of the most emotionally intense scenes as the viewer is left in the air just long enough before the delivery. Amazing set-up and execution of an incredibly memorable scene. The way you used, presumably, the sky box to hide your character was quite ingenuous as you could easily mask the transition for that round ending knock-out punch. The size change that is hidden is the deadliest after all! Not to mention there’s something to be said for a giant eye looming over you as it just makes you feel helpless and miniscule. One suggestion I might add is, if possible, to add some shaking to the buildings as she approaches to help enhance the power and weight of her actions. Her movements at this scale possibly displacing a large amount of air and causing all sorts of force to begin cascading down on the people below. Having such miniscule actions taking on such proportional effects is also a huge plus for these types of scales as you want to impart just how powerful she is with minimal effort. Lovely attention to detail on the clouds dissipating as her meteoric boob descended from the heavens. While I can’t quite put my finger on it, it appears that the camera effect looked different from the rest, something like a fisheye lens? Notably it helped cover a wider angle and capture her breast in such a way that made it feel that much more encompassing. While it was amazing to see how they continued to get larger and larger as they appeared to keep heading towards the city before finally crushing it. Goes to show that even when you think something is ‘close’ it can always continue getting closer. This type of frame is incredibly gratifying. When the ost in the end started playing I was immediately reminded of that feeling you get when you finish a game or movie, and the end credits start rolling. Then the final cutscene plays and all that emotion is directed in whichever mood you’ve set the scene to inspire in the audience. Which in this case I can confidently say was hype! With that smile and close-up perfectly closing the set. You’ve outdone yourself once again and I’m more excited than ever to see where things go from here. I do apologize if I’ve missed anything, but I wouldn’t want these to go on too long! Final words, large scale size differences and growth will always be a winning combination in my books, so I do hope to see your future works continue to encompass these themes. Point of personal preference over!

Thank you very much Darren for that incredible comment, without a doubt I felt very proud to have created this animation, and I apologize for the small details such as the destruction of the buildings that I could not incorporate due to lack of effects and experience, these days I will be studying Blender to improve my content more, and really thank you very much, your comments and those of others always inspire me to continue improving more and more without stopping jiji

It was both a blast and a pleasure to write! As you should be. There is no need to apologize, my commentary is part suggestions based on my own subjective opinion and wanting to do what I can to hopefully help you create pieces that we all love and enjoy. Growing together as a community is one of the blessings of such a format after all (ᵔ◡ᵔ) I wish you luck on your Blender journey and do take as much time as you need. The payoff is worth every ounce you put into it! It brings me a lot of joy to hear that and is what makes each syllable, each hit of the key worth it a thousand times over. I'm glad each of us can do our part in spurring you on and I, myself, hope to continue to impart even just a little bit of motivation as you strive to better yourself. Here's to continuing to support one another! (o˘◡˘o)
