Hey everyone! I think I've come up with an idea for the ending of my game, Opportunities.

After repeating the steps of making art, writing applications, sending them and being unsuccessful X number of times and consequently getting more and more exhausted, eventually a cutscene will happen.

In this cutscene you enter the room to make art and the button isn’t there, when you try to exit the room there is a rumble and a dark shape falls down blocking the exit. You are scared for a second but then suddenly the lights turn on and it’s revealed that the room is full of all the art that you’ve been making this entire time, and there’s a lot of it. Above you are stairs made of sketchbooks leading up to a completely different area that continues to be made entirely out of your artwork. There are large rooms that look like landscapes made up of sculptures, drawings, moving image work, loads of things.

One room has a glass floor below which you can see the room where you previously sent applications, from here it looks so small and insignificant, not quite as important as it once was.

You explore the environment full of colour and art until you reach a long corridor that leads to a room where there is a giant (maybe also shiny) version of the make art symbol. When you press it you have finished the game and the credits roll.
