The end of Neodym. (This image needs a dialogue edit but otherwise its complete)

Hey folks, If you got this far thank you for tuning in, we have about 10 pages left.. maybe less. But I can start wrapping things up on the Atoll Lab prologue story. At the rate I'm going , I give it another 3 more months. if you have any Dire machine specific questions you can ask me. As always Thank you to those who have stuck around to support this comic and my website. Happy turkey month, and I'll have one more picture for this month. No new pictures for the week of thanksgiving or the week after that as i will be out of state and in the Ohio area visiting the USAF museum.

🤔 i suppose when all else fails nuke her. 😅 (Neodym was a "she" right?) As for dire machine questions stuff... you probably answered these two i'm about to ask ages ago,,, but if so i... can't find it. So... - We established that having a relationship with a dire machine basically turns humans into an half-robot hybrid of sorts. A bioroid? Sorry, i'm still not good with the actual terminology. But what happens if the relationship breaks for one reason or another (bad relationship, death of the dire machine, or just losing interest but keeping friends) the human turned into the half-machine hybrid now tries to have a relationship with a normal human... is the "transformation" going to spread? - Related to my first question: a refresh on the terminology? Or a link to a dictionary of sorts which you might have compiled? Thanks.

Happy Tanksgiving to you to! (Or as they call it in retail, "Pre-holiday Consumer rush month 1"). - Simone, long ago I asked before what a child of two "Corrupted" humans would turn out as, and it was a mystery. The half-Machine girls are basically humans who were "Corrupted" experimentally rather than naturally, so I think the result would be the same (and still currently a complete mystery). I tend to think either a fully humanoid mecha, or someone human in appearance, but with completely chrome skin. But it could be anywhere from Hajime Sorayama's wet dream to Tsutomu Nihei's worst nightmare.

Neodym was a she yes. So "corruption" is what happens when your body absorbs nano machines from one or many sources of machine folk. As a human, you cannot give birth to, or impregnate other machine folk until you are completely corrupted as evidenced by the greyish fade that takes over your limbs and hair. Its assumed their is a point of no return, because the nano machine colony permanently alters your physiology at some point. So if you are under 20%, then you can recover over time. Your own native cells will push out the machine cells trying to establish themselves in your flesh. at 70-100% corruption, you need constant contact with machine kind, because you cannot generate a new colony within yourself. The nano machines you have inside of you are all the ones that you will ever have until you get more from other folk. You are free to have relationships with other machine folk but it gets significantly more complicated if you have been physically bonded to a dire machine that has died. If you choose to bed another corrupted human, then the the results of that instance is a corrupted human with small patches of steel scaling around various points of the body.(20% larger). I actually dont have a dictionary because i thought that no one would be interested lol.

With regards to feighns comment, it may even be possible to give birth to a humanoid that has a slightly metalic sheen all over the body, or a very chiseled appearance in many places. unless a massive mutation happens like with the success machine virus, i don't think corrupted humans can give birth to gundam robots..yet.

Well, that totally answers that then! Thanks. And you were probably right about there not being interest in seeing such characters, as they'd be very rare anyway. There's always curiosity though, and that knows no bounds.
