honestly... i've always wondered about the "pliability" of the """skin""" of these dire machines. So... over there in the center... she is able to deform it with normal human hands?

in truth, this was an accident. I was trying to choose between 2 different hand poses- I wanted both, but settled on this one with the ;'after image" of the first one. Dire machines can only achieve at most a 10 degree bend across any point in the body.. They are warm but still very rigid like steel. The only places that have excessive articulation are parts that stay housed within the airframe/hull protected because they carry more sensitive components. Mechadendrites, tendrils, Manipulators are more complex robotics and only deploy when needed, along with the tongue, probe, port. They are hardened and should feel like aircraft, tanks, ships ect. they save their soft parts for us tho ;)

hmmm... so i should see that hand pose as an "afterimage" of her clenching her hand?! kinky. 💖 Also: thanks for the explanation... but some stuff should not be overthought or... you will end up having to explain mouths, eyelids, etc. ... which i honestly don't mind... BUT!
🤣👍💖
