Fourteen Blessings (pt.1) (Patreon)

Because Freydis lost her wings, she not only struggles to remember some of the gods’ names, but tragically, she can’t even recall one of her mother’s names. The wings weren’t just a connection to the gods. they were also tied to her heritage, memory, and a part of her very self. Losing them was like losing a piece of her memory, a reflection of the wings Athena herself bears, which Freydis had inherited.
Freydis was born from Athena’s heart. Yes, Athena has a partner, but she feels and gives love in her own way, and Freydis carries a part of that love within her.
Jessifoni, another goddess in disguise and queen of Sparta, is Freydis’s mother. The fates foretold that if Athena accepted Jessifoni’s blessing, their child could bring peace and balance, and so Athena did.
Only Flora and Fenrir, her wolf companion (not the big Fenrir), know Freydis’s secret. Everyone else, including her brother, doesn’t know, keeping her divine heritage and struggles private.
