Would you still love me - Athena/Jessifoni/Freydis (mini comic) (Patreon)

I still get a lot of people asking if Athena and Jessifoni are still searching for Freydis, even though I’ve said it before- but yes, they never stopped. They’re still looking for her, and that hasn’t changed.

Freydis’s disappearance still affects them deeply, especially Jessifoni, who remains unable to forgive herself for her daughter’s absence. She carries the guilt like a wound that never truly healed, convinced that a mother should have been able to protect her child no matter the cost. And even now, there are moments when she still thinks she might be there, just out of reach, as if that thought alone could ease the ache in her heart, even if only for a little while.
Athena stays with Jessifoni and doesn’t let her sit in the grief alone. She doesn’t try to rush her out of it or soften it with empty reassurances. When Jessifoni starts to sink too deeply into her sorrow, Athena gently reminds her that she is not the only one breaking under the weight of Freydis’s absence. She admits that she is hurting too, and that Jessifoni does not have to carry all of this alone or let it consume her completely.
