i’m sorry to say that I canceled my membership today. It was not working for me and I tried to keep this and see if I could make it work but I’m on disability and I can’t seem paying for something that I cannot use anymore. I love y’all to death. I wish you a lot of success. I’ll check in from time to time to see what’s going on.

My dad is a huge John Wayne fan. I recommend Rio Bravo, The Searchers, El Dorado, The Longest Day, McClintock, and Stagecoach.

JL the woman in this movie is Maureen Ohare, she is the MOM in the original Miracle on 34th Street- Christmas movie, She made 5 movies with John Wayne you have already seen Big Jake.

JL- the Quiet Man and the Last John Wayne film Donnavon Reef from Christmas are both directed by John Ford the only director to win the Oscar for best director 4 times. I have read where quite a few of today's best filmmakers have been influenced by John Ford Including Steven Spileburg, Martain Scorsese, George Lucus and David Lean just to name a few. My original plan over the next 3 months was to start a Road to "The Searchers" This film is the "AFI" American Film Institute #1 Western of all time. I was going to pick it for June with a lead-up of 2 other movies are also on the "AFI" top 10 westerns list all three movies have a Rotten Tomatoes score of at least 94%. But with the uncertainty on the pat. picks [I hope they stay they are much more personal than the other reactions, I don't have anyone to go to the movies with and the pat picks feel like that is something I have needed] but back to April. I am going to do "The Searcher" for April I have never seen a creditable top 20 western list that did not Have the searcher on that list. [I am not talking about a casual fans' Favorite list but from sources like IMDb or the AFI that look at all aspects of the film, sound cinematography, screenplay etc.} Several of the directors that I mentioned earlier have included homages to "The Searchers" in a few of their movies including Star Wars A New Hope & Star Wars Attack of the Clones both have a scene that is taken from "The Searchers" both are set on tattooine but I don't want to say what they as they would be spoilers. You are going to see some of the best scenery you have seen in a movie. there is a good chance Red Dead was at least in part inspired by the searchers.

JL every normal guy who has seen a john wayne movie with Maureen Ohare has felt that same way about her to a point, this is not the first time you have seen her in a john wayne movie- "Big Jake" I have at least 2 more on my list.

John Wayne had three wives they were all hispanic women. Redheads were not his thing.
