Kinda weird but this movie will always hold a place in my heart as the first movie I watched with my highschool girlfriend. This final destination 2 and Terminator 3

Yeah I didn't understand the whole water fear part either. Dude has a permanent residency in a fucking lake and moves absolutely fine, but for this movie they say it's his greatest fear and he freezes up just to ignore it at the very end. Besides that though, I love this movie and had a blast with this reaction.

I'm just reaching for straws here, but I like to think the pink tranquilizers put Jason in such a weakened state that his water fear was unlocked in that moment, but even then, it didn't work since he woke himself up. And the fact that he lives in the only thing that he's "afraid" of says a lot about his mental fortitude (or lack thereof since he basically a zombie).

Wait a minute! I believe "Jason X" was released in 2001 and "Freddy vs Jason" was released in 2003. So, sadly missed that little build up.

Another great reaction. This is one of my favorites because growing up we had Jason and Freddy movies and when you grow up with them, seeing them onscreen together hit differently.
