I knew this would likely be your new favorite! The kill count was around 31 I believe. The "Evil dies tonight" crap was cringey and the other patients death was unnecessary.. especially considering the actor that played him(Mr. Tevuli) actually died shortly after.. Also surprised you didnt notice Stuart from MadTv as Little John lol not gonna lie was kinda expecting a "STFU" as soon as you seen him. I wasnt crazy about what they did with Halloween Ends.. I can appreciate doing something different but.. it wasnt a proper "ending".

In terms of Michael Meyers, I knew you were going to love this iteration of Michael just because this film shows the Shape for that which it is ~ a brutal killing machine that takes down anyone who gets in his way. No motive, no reason, you just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. The mob mentality subplot does get annoying, but Hollywood throwing social commentary into movies doesn't surprise me in the least. People getting all worked up and going on crusades and jumping to conclusions and attacking people without even knowing all of the facts..... but doing it in a Halloween movie to the extent that they did does take away from the movie. So, yes, I can see where people dislike the movie because of it..... and let's not forget that the slang term "Karen" started getting used at the time the 2018 film came out and really took off in the past several years..... and can arguably trace its roots back this this trilogy's character due to her holier than thou attitude. Her character was just so obnoxious throughout I was happy to see her get taken out the way Michael did in the Extended cut (I don't remember if the theatrical release was quite as brutal). I have no idea if you have watched Halloween Ends as of yet, and if you haven't, I will just say this to properly prepare you: If you're keeping score, Halloween 2018 was Michael escaping and having a final showdown with Laurie. Halloween Kills sees Laurie laid up in the hospital following her run in with Michael. See where this is going (in regard to what you might expect of the 3rd movie in the trilogy)? They were smart enough to not eliminate Michael altogether from Ends..... but if you're going to somewhat enjoy the movie, don't expect it to be another Halloween Kills. You will eventually get the final confrontation you're expecting, but the movie itself is NOT a Michael Meyers movie per say. That's as far as I'll spoil it, just to spare you the extreme disappointment that so many people had towards Halloween Ends. Many of us realized it right up front with the opening credits matching those of Halloween III ~ and Ends does have a 57% audience rating on Rotten Tomatoes compared to Halloween III's 29% audience rating...... so regardless as to what the haters claim, the majority of people still liked Halloween Ends. Go into it with an open mind, and you'll enjoy it much more than if you go into it expecting another Halloween Kills repeat. And, yes, there are some serious plot holes in Halloween Ends. People shouldn't have to track down interviews with the writers and director to answer some of the questions they are left with.... but that is what ended up being the case.

This motherfucker kills everything that moves in this movie. They went a long way to redeem him here. Still can't lick Jason's boots, but an impressive body count.

Michael went absolutely hamb in this one. Only thing I wanted to see was the guy who played Tommy come back and reprise it like the other older characters

This is my favorite too. I love how they picked up where it left off and then picked up where it left off in 1978. He definitely made up in the kill dept in all of the movies combined.

I said you were gonna fw this one super hard. This and the last one were made very well. Accept the next one actually does suck but it's interesting at the same time. Watch the rob zombie remake though! That Michaels built super different

Yeah I think everyone hates this so much because of the whole "Evil Dies Tonight!" BS. I enjoyed everything but that myself. Yes, Hawkins got ran over however it was just the lower half of his body.
