Yay!! I love all the apes films. I am partial to the original films because my family loved them and I grew up with them, plus Rod Serling co-wrote the first one and I love his writing. I do hope you get to watch Tim Burton's Planet of the Apes (2001) one day. It may not be the best out there but the practical makeups by Rick Baker are amazing!! :)

La Toya Sheri

Yay love me some caesar. My son does too.

I'm Batman

There was a post credit scene that shows the neighbor heading to the airport while being infected by the dude who sneezed on him. Once he starts his flight that was the initial way this virus spread. Just so u know why alot of humans aren't in the 2nd movie.

Ralfylongisland

Man, I hope u watch all of them. They get better! And they run off eachother. Great saga!

I'm so happy you enjoyed this! This series is so underrated. It's one of my very favorite trilogies. It gets better and better. It poses deep questions, what is it to be human,? Caesar shows more compassion, kindness, nobleness and justice than most. Andy Serkis ( LOTR's Gollum)'s performances as Caesar is some of the best acting to be put on screen. Chills.

When you said "you can't get people loyal like that, they don't ask questions, they just do what he says" EXACTLY! This is why if this were to happen, we would lose.

Kara Davis

These movies only get better & the actor that play r ms Mill's father is actor John Lithgo.

Armor King's Support Unit

Gosh this was GREAT! I can't wait for the rest of the films! I hope you enjoy them as much as I have!

As a suggestion, I may offer the advice of checking a site like https://aftercredits.com/ or something before watching the movies. Just to make sure you don't miss any mid- or post-credit scenes. You can check and find out if they have them without having what they are spoiled. Not that I'm saying you missed a mid-credit scene in this or anything...

glad i picked the OG Apes film for J to watch in january.

frost1977

These new apes films may not be a direct prequel to the original film starring Charlton Heston- but they are connected in spirit. The screenplay for the original film in 1968 was written by Rob Sterling the creator of the Twilit Zone TV show.

real chimps are mean, they kill each other in the wild all the time. Gorillas and Orangatangs are peaceful but chimps are psychopathic at times.
