One of the best miniseries of all time

Mia Mccline

This is one of the best mini series ever. IT is really hard to watch, especially episode 3, so I'm glad you're wearing something comfy. On that note I have the same comfrt set and it's one of my favs.

Smokinjoe056

Good shit man. Been waiting for this

Echo Moon

Oh, this is a good mini series. Very sad subject matter. Happy to rewatch with you. :)

Violet

This is incredibly difficult to watch but it's also absolutely worth it. I'm really looking forward to hearing your thoughts on it and I'm excited by the fact that you'll be doing longer outros! And also it doesn't surprise me that you would go yourself into a dangerous situation rather than send your people, you're definitely a good man.

Amber Yaist

Oh your watching this show....im sorry. very good but so sad

This show is so good, that I'm definitely going to enjoy this rewatch, even after seeing the series 2 months ago (for the 3rd time). Also, if you didn't catch it, the dickhead boss is the same guy who at the start of the movie, the guy said on the tape got 10 years in prison, but should be killed.

Oh man, I love this series and I am going to love doing a rewatch with your reactions. But this is gonna be hella rough for you to get through. It’s really useful to see some of the allegories, especially these days with where we are in the country and the world right now. Also, don’t know if you knew this, but this show was created, written, and directed by Craig Mazin, who is also the co-creator and co-showrunner of The Last of Us show with Neil Druckmann. So yeah, it definitely has a horror vibe in that kind of way.

Also, “Ivan, that guy on the wall” was Vladimir Lenin, the progenitor of Marxism-Leninism, key leader in the Bolshevik revolution and October Revolution, and first leader of the Soviet Union.

True Detective season 1!

The thing you have to keep in mind is that this is the 80’s Soviet Russia. They’re still in the Cold War with us here in the U.S.A. They were more interested in saving face and not letting the world know that they were capable of such a mistake. That’s why they say things like the reactor can’t explode, since it was Soviet made it is therefore superior and incapable of failure. Same as the old man saying how they had to maintain their faith in Socialism and that is would be rewarded. Russian Socialism for them is superior and cannot be allowed to be seen as flawed in any way.
