I think this is the only movie where one artist did all the songs. This is one of my favorite Disney Movies. Glen Close was perfect as Tarzan’s mother. When she sings to him as a baby, I cry because I used to sing to my son too. Great movie. Can’t wait for more.

You’ll be in my heart is mine and my niece’s song. I also watched this with my goddaughters when they were 4 and 5 separately. I watched it first with the 4 year old. She turns to me after the baby monkey gets eaten. “Aunt Sam what did that big cat do to that baby monkey?” I looked her straight in her eyes and said “he ate him”. She was horrified. I explained that was the circle of life that bigger animals ate smaller ones. She was thrilled by the time Sabor died. After the movie finished her sister got home from school so we watched it with her. She did the same asking me what happened to the baby monkey. I looked her in the eyes and said he ate him. She starts looking horrified. The 4 year old pipes up and goes “it’s ok! It’s the circle of life!”
