First Time Watching 13 Ghosts for JL. Patreon Exclusive.

*Two things: One, this is the first of a few live reactions J did on Twitch. If you want to watch live, make sure you're subbed to the Twitch channel at https://www.twitch.tv/eom_gaming1.

Second, for some reason this movie was co-produced by WB and Columbia, so the copy J is watching and the digital copy used to link it up have different studio logos at the beginning. The movie is synced starting with the flashing lights you see in J's mirror for the second studio logo. Just a heads up that the first few seconds might be tough to sync, so just wanted everyone to be aware if and when you try to watch it that the start might be a little tricky to make sure it's synced.

PATREON 13 Ghosts 2001 Movie Reaction First Time Watching

I'm Batman

Oh shit, one of my all time favorite horror movies, granted it doesn't have many scares in it itself but the designs of the ghosts are just too dope, design wise they're right up there with the cenobites from Hellraiser. And thank you for the heads up on syncing!

I still get nightmares about the very scary ghost in this. Thank you Jay! Can’t wait to watch

The director only did 2 movies, this and Ghost Ship. You can definitely tell it's the same director, very similar feel. It's a shame he never got to make any more films cuz both films have a pretty unique feel to them. Definitely check out Ghost Ship, the opening scene alone is worth it.

I really like this film. My hubby introduced it to me years ago and I still love it. The ghost designs are very cool and done with practical makeups (which you know I love). ;) Gotta go pull out my dvd copy to watch along with J. This is gonna be fun.

The whole glasses thing is a plot hole in this movie. Once you get toward the end, people are seeing ghosts without glasses on which defeats the whole point of wearing fancy safety glasses.

Gary Hatmaker

Get you the dvd and watch the special features. They do a featurette for every ghost. It's just as good (if not better) than the movie.

Sorry to leave this critique, because I know you work hard. But, this has a fair amount of dead air. Warm regards.

The production team for this movie not only did Ghost Ship, they also made House on Haunted Hill (1999). You definitely need to watch both!
