Just a heads up, but there are two starts at the beginning of this. The first only runs a minute or two before J starts over, but still left it in the edit. The start point around 10 mins into the video is the actual start time to sync up and watch the entire movie. Just a heads up.

Ah, the summer of '72 man. Those were good times. Floating in my mom's womb, lol. Damn, some good music came out during the year before I was born though :)

For the record, the sequel is essentially a totally different movie. Consider it part 2 of Vada's coming of age. Thomas J is mentioned in passing maybe a couple times, but other than that, she has a completely new summer adventure in that one. Nothing nearly as sad IMO :) I get it though, man. Some movies hit us like that. All in all, I generally don't do movies with a whole death plot. It's depressing and sh*t. Some movies I've specifically never watched because I know there's death and heartbreak in it. I'm too much like Vada. I was just like her when I was her age. A death obsessed hypochondriac. I haven't changed a whole lot in my old age, and middle age has just brought those feelings of mortality closer, lol. So yeah. I'm glad you got to watch this one though. Brings back memories of college for me. It was one of those movies I remember seeing at the movie theater down the street from the campus that first year :)

I dunno man, whenever there is a video on you tube with like clips of all different people's reactions to the same scene, if J is one of them, he is always by far, the absolute best every single time and by a mile.
