Tony A. Aragon

They've been talking about a new Freddy movie. It'll be called, Childs Play on Elm Street.

Aceldamia

Don't worry. If everyone else bails, I'll still be watching the slasher vids. They are always my most anticipated ones.

You have reached a milestone, instead of just watching and accepting the movie, you have become a fan, now you can critique the movies, and yes, this is trash,... a fucking mirror?! I am sure Freddy has seen his reflection before, you see the way he poses and shit. I'm pretty sure he jumped through a mirror in one of the movies,... trash.

Believe it or not, they only get worse from here. The original and #3 are the only ones worth watching. Sometimes trash is entertaining, but I hate that Freddy became a cartoonish buffoon after Dream Warriors. Of all the classic slashers, the original Nightmare is my very favorite and terrified me the most as a kid. I couldn’t sleep for WEEKS. To me, the Jasons and Michaels are meh (except for the first Halloween). And I never was a Chucky fan, but you’ll probably enjoy those. Hopefully you can make it through to Freddy vs. Jason. That’s a fun watch! For now, I think switching into RiffTrax/MST3K mode is your best survival strategy for Slasher Saturdays. Seriously - it’s gonna get rough.

LeSheezy

It becomes more horror comedy it's true. Although, I do enjoy Dream Child. Hanging on till Wes Craven's New Nightmare

Freddy had begun selling too much merchandise, had to make him a family friendly murderer.

That reminds me how every once in a while, I see lists of "Children's Toys From R-Rated movies." When you think about it, it is an odd choice by them. Or more likely, them trying to subtly admit that kids watch these movies they are "too young to see."

WHAT??? People don't like slasher Saturday?? I live for it. I wear my slasher Saturday shirts while I'm watching. Love to you J and Blank.😁👍👍

M CM

I love slasher Saturdays! What is wrong with people!? If you don't like it, fine, but to take the time to contact you and complain!? I appreciate that you guys sprinkle in a whole variety of movies for us.

Miss Gigglebox

I hope the person who hates Slasher Saturdays enjoyed this movie. The storyline was terrible but my favorite part was when Freddy ordered a pizza and said he loved "soul food" while eating the souls of his victims in the shape of......meatballs lol
