Very interesting movie for sure. I loved how South Park took the piss out of it lol

Violet

Omg!! Yes!!!!

AdrianF

Ooh, I hope you're gonna do 10 Cloverfield Lane as well.

Big Frank

Isn't this the movie where the camera shakes a lot?

Arbie

Well, there's a party in it.

Armor King's Support Unit

there's 2 more cloverfield films with a 4th one being made more centered around the Cloverfield monster in this 1st movie. 2nd and 3rd movie are more spin-offy but they're still worth a watch, 10 Cloverfield Lane and the Cloverfield Paradox

Miss Gigglebox

Nope, Blank wasn't lying. It was about a party.....at first 🤭

Papa Sanders

10 Cloverfield Lane is really good too.

The trick is to not know _anything_ about the monster. The "sequels" thing is complicated, there are a bunch of *universe* movies that but no hard sequel, the other movies so far have been nothing like this - this is a good thing, they're very very different - 10 Cloverfield, the next one, imho is definitely the best (so far). Trivia time: there's some dispute about if A Quiet Place was written to be an in-universe franchise movie but spun off into a whole separate thing..
