(Doctors Story)Hey everyone!So last time Keen ended up on an alien ship, looking for the doctor.  And while I was sharing the art of this chapter with you, many of you were already speculating about the looks of  alien here.  Oh boy, and there were some wild ideas going around!  So I felt it was time to finish my character design and share it with you :)   And  so here it is.Everyone, meet  Plork!   

Perhaps he is not as sexy as Lorza, but I hope you like him nevertheless :)And here you can see again how I drew Plork. Normally it takes me quite a while to design and draw a new character, but in this case everything welt pretty smooth. I also had a lot of fun drawing his 'wrinkels'! Perhaps not having to draw a pretty girl takes the pressure of somehow?  

Plork's design has also been part of a larger set of sketches I made for the alien ship. So soon I wil sharing  those as well.  All the best!-Robin

Thanks for sharing and will there a Mrs. Plork, who’s tiered of her husband probing pretty space ladies for “Research”? To get back at him Mrs. Plork ventures off to the space station to be probed by the MPC for “Research”. Asking for a friend.

Plork -- such an appropriate, humorous name for a Space Rescue alien! The design is fun, and very different from what we've seen for characters so far. Variety is good! I look forward to seeing whatever else you feel like sharing of your creative process, whenever you feel like sharing it! Be well, Robin!

Haha, that would make a pretty funny story actually! Not sure if I could actually do that through, but perhaps I can put up a poirtrait of Mrs. Plork & the kids somewhere? :)

Yep, Dave. I've seen visual novels where there's a cute person walking by in the background of a scene, just to make the scene look more true-to-life, and invariably, at least one someone writes in to the author (sometimes very indignant) demanding to know why there is no option in the VN to romance the bystander in green! Honestly, some folks just don't understand that game developers and other creators aren't their 24/7 personal servants, just because they voluntarily paid a few bucks toward the developer's game. Fun! Thanks! I'm wondering if sentient alien species are a lot more rare in Keen's universe than in, say, Star Trek, because it seems to be something noteworthy when non-human species (Lorza, Plork) show up in the Space Rescue story. When the doctor vanished, Keen seemed puzzled by the mystery. He didn't just shrug and say "Oh, it's probably Gribulon pirates misbehaving in this sector *again*". :-D
