iirc Rimuru said he just wants to talk and he feels sorry about Shizu, but if she feels like she is owed revenge for Shizu, she is welcome to fight him one on one? It's like when news cuts out a part of someone's statement to paint them in a bad picture, like taking things out of context.

ya! ya'll were both right, those old guys def manipulated rimuru's message, and he did say that portion, but ya know without context. I'm p sure he said he wanted peace & love but if there's a problem he's down to squash it between him and her. I don't think it was only bait, cuz rimiru wanted to reach out to her somehow anyway without instigating (I think). I'm loving hinata's progression, I never expected her to be this understanding in the last season. I'm surprised diablo didn't make sure to send the priest in prepared to refute in front of everyone lol
