There are 3 royal houses and the rest are either nobles or commoners in the magic knights. Noelle is from one and Mimosa is from another. You meet the last later.

Also yeah like what someone else said it's not just one royal family, there's a couple of them and that's not a spoiler. There isn't "the royal family" we have maybe like 3 or so

Noelle and Mimosa have different last names, but they're part of the royal family. Not sisters, just relatives. Also, the Golden dawn is filled with nobles, not the royal family. Although they do have some royal members, that's not the rule.

The wealth tier goes like this - (I will not include Wizard King because that is a whole other status) Top- The Royal families (3 in total) The King is in one, Mimosa is in one and finally Noelle is in one too (You'll know which of the 3 royal families people are in with their last name like Noelle "Silva" or Mimosa "Vermillion") 2nd- The Nobles: which are just like rich people/ high status people (Yuno's squad is filled with mostly Nobles not Royals) 3rd- Commoners: which just equal like the "Middle Class" Finally- The boonies: the poor/ people who live in the forsaken realm like Asta and Yuno and Magna

To clarify Mimosa is not Noelle's sister. Also they come from different families. Mimosa is from the Vermillion family and noelle from Sliva. There is not only ONE royal family but 3. Most of the time you can depict who is from which family like their clothes or hair

Yea, iirc its more like different families that branched from one main royal family a long time ago, so they're all very different but still part of "the royal family". The different branches have different family names and are all like super distant cousins of each other or something :p

Well to me a Sister is someone who has the same parents. It's not the same as Cousins... the royals marry among themselves, so they're all closely related

Not everyone in Golden dawn is part of the royal family. There are nobles as well. Mostly nobles as there are only a few people who are royalty. Nobles and royals have a lot of magic. Usually royals are considered to have the most. The royal families will be described later on if you still remember.
