So many questions right now! I'm sure we'll get our answers though!

Comments

Kee

UPPA YARDO - Love the Engrish in anime subs.

Hotshame

There is a lot of parts in this Arc where you think they are fillers bcuz of how stretched they are. thats why there is a bunch of ppl who always say skip Skypiea, but trust me its probably the most important arc you will watch.

Wingsxofxfreedom

I agree Ron some of these villians are mad annoying to get through we just got to trust luffy to kick their ass and be done with 😂

Wingsxofxfreedom

6:18 and 6:46 when Ron wears his beanies over his eyes 😂

Espar

Guys, feel free to pause when they show title screen introducing a character cus they're important as they give a lot of information about that particular character. I'm sure no one piece fan would mind you doing that.

Saith D. Uchiha

Im kinda rewatching this with you it’s a very important ark n I BINGED One Piece for 3 1/2 years 15 eps usually a day so watching 4 eps a week is kinda nice when I was like next episode next episode

Whoopsie

Rip to a top 3 Villain in all of OP 😭

Saith D. Uchiha

Ron: WHERE TF is CHOPPER🤬 Michelle: Yeah… kinda worried 😐🥱

jeremychavez

Seeing Rons frustration with the cuts between "goings ons "kills me cause WEVE ALL BEEN THERE BROTHER, But when it gets there IT GETS THERE guys keep watching

jeremychavez

also remember this arc is like 100 something episodes

101mavrik

mantra = . . . find out in episode 500+ 😂

SomeoneElse

The reveal of Jaya and Upper Yard being connected was so freaking cool to me. I need this in the live action ASAP. Also good to be subscribed again, had to wait for the Ball Ordeal to be over 🤣 LETS GOOOO

The CulturedGentleman

Ron this "Reveal" is just ONE example of how creative Oda Sensei gets with his writing. Dont worry...when this episode ends and the entire story is tied up in one big beautiful bow...im sure ur gonna be alot more invested in One Piece. Which is good because IT ONLY GETS BETTER! :) Btw, try to remember the bits where the story makes it obvious its revealing something new to us the audience. That whole thing with Nami, robin and Zoro...remember and pay attention keenly to moments like those. Sometimes its foreshadowing for stuff MUCH later down. One Piece was not written by chance :)

The CulturedGentleman

Btw please dont ask about Eneru if u dont wanna get spoiled lol...Youre gonna get there and when U see him...ul know :) hes one shady fellow :)

Surya

There is legit foreshadowing done well, missable even within this arc, but some fans are too much sometimes. Luffy breathes* Fans: Its foreshadowing the powers of the next villain! write that down!

DB Cooper

who else saw the thumbnail without reading title and though for a sec it was konoha / naruto ep instead of OP 😭

kirk poss

God eneru will not disappoint

Shadowstep2010

I was not a big fan of the Sky Island arc. It just felt so drawn out, but I really hope the two of you enjoy it!

Michael H

How did Nami get up that tree? Probably an army of Robin’s arms yoinked her up.

David Barron

Nah this arc is like 50 eps after you cut filler. Just a little shorter than Alabasta was.

David Barron

I want to see y'all's reaction when we get moments when characters straight up refuse to answer series level questions, sometimes multiple times spread out over hundreds of episodes. The blue-balling is real.

vaughn

would love to see the next 3 together :D arc finally starts pickin up

Blu3

Wow Chopper can be stupid sometimes lol. Oh just noticed the episode they are on 🫢

Enzo Torales

“ how’s that have to do with this island”, Ron my brother everything have to do with everything in this anime

Blu3

My exact thought lol

Bstretch21

ah man ending of the second episode gave me goosebumps even though I’ve probably seen it at least 5 times

BashaM

‘The City of Gold is in the Sky’ always gives me goosebumps! Everything will be explained don’t worry and everything is connected.

Juan Contreras

The info oda put on this sky island is amazing when it connects to the future info you’ll get

Antonio Pugliese

It was never confirmed but the wings could just be for decoration and not real wings.

RorotheShadow

Please don't belittle Chopper's actions, Ron! 😅 Like Michelle said, this decision he made is very important for his character development and something like the first step for him. He knows he can't swim but still decided to jump into the water and try to save Gan Fall. He copied this courage from Luffy and Zoro, especially from Zoro (since he is Chopper's greatest role model in terms of bravery and toughness, in my opinion), because he knows full well that Zoro and Luffy often find themselves in seemingly hopeless situations where it is said that they would never get out alive or uninjured, but they still give their all, even if it seems hopeless at first glance. The fact that Chopper made this selfless and risky decision shows that he is starting to want to give his all, just like Luffy and Zoro show him. And don't worry, all your questions will be answered, just be a little patient 😉😂

dzuudo

"Waaow" as she yawned mouth wide open.

Adrian Acosta

there is nothing u miss and its just frustrated one piece fans telling you to watch the og because they are jealous that you get to watch a better paced one piece

Leo Rover

Actually I think One Pace isn't done with this arc. They almost caught up the last episode released for this arc but yes I agree, at some point it will become necessary.

DY

you've finished the prolouge of skypia and now the real shit begins and all your questions will be answered very soon! it's about to go down!

Ronahi S.

Yeah I always thought they will get realllly annoyed by one piece at some point. one piece’s pacing is literally so bad that it is not enjoyable, for me at least

ChocoBoshi

If you dont like One Piece why are you watching their One Piece reactions?

Vaby da Kat

Nahh... frustrated? Nahhh... Let them get bored. I got bored with a lot of their episodes but still glad I got to watch them. Although I totally would not recommend the fillers except G5. Lol

Rosie

I think that the pace thing they do in the animation. it is still dragging even it is not the add on episodes.

Usher

Fr some aot level shit

Usher

The rest of the arc is gonna shock them😂

beannie

love this comment!! atp chopper is still learning how to deal with life or death situations and trying to learn how to be brave! he copies usopp's funny faces and luffy's gimmicks, now he's trying to copy courage too and it's just the most wholesome sht ever, cause every single thing he does for others is filled with love and compassion

beannie

this arc is actually magical for me, it's filled with every single trope i love from this show and ofc the pacing problem is still there lol but all the little hints and the big reveals are so dear to me😭 i get so cheesy with it cause I MISS EARLY OP SO MUCH

Michelle Lam

well we are glad you are re enjoying it with us!

Usher

"That's enough.. Gon"

Whoopsie

bruh its not that bad

beannie

Im loving the reactions🏌️‍♂️ as always

Jin

Yes. It's crazy and amazing how well Oda put everything together. I've watched a lot of anime and other shows, but personally, the way that this was written is definitely my all time favorite so far.

Ghedo

This! which in my opinion is worse. You can skip whole episodes of Filler in Bleach or Naruto, but not really in One Piece, which is why im super excited for the Remake

Phyllis

Haha everyone talking about pacing issues which is quite true for long running and older animes. Anyway, you will learn about mantra in the near future and far future of this show. You mat still have questions after this arc but all answers will eventually be answered. It may take hundreds of episodes though.

Tara Lamothe

And most of them never fly... or also they could be real but decorational

Tara Lamothe

I'm now wondering if binged is the right word cause I've been randomly binging since I watched the live action, last Oct? .. I've been slacking lately but I'm on like ep 930...honestly I've been trying to draw it outcause I don't wanna wait weekly..but 3 1/2 years!? I simply could not wait that long

Tara Lamothe

This might be the 5th time+ I've liked this exact same tweet

Antonio Pugliese

And also because characters like Ener and Gan forr don't have wings. I'm making a spoiler comment so if you don't read the manga don't read: . . . . . in Ener's cover story, in the graffiti he finds on the Moon there are 3 figures representing the Shandia, Skypia and Birka peoples. We see that the three peoples have wings of different shapes. When we first see Uruge his wings are shaped like those of the inhabitants of Birka. However, in an SBS Oda drew Uruge as a child with the typical Skypia antennas and also the Skypia wings. So it can be assumed that these wings are actually ornaments that are used to venerate some gods and perhaps the shapes of the wings themselves represent a specific god.

Tara Lamothe

I came back to like this comment again but I can't so...🙌

Stephen Vaughn

Holy shit, Michelle with yet another sick-nasty callout with the "This is the shandian's version of Zoro"
