2 things: 1. It's quite important to remember that Hanzo was manipulated by Danzo which made him believe that the akatsuki were a threat to the hidden rain. He had a semblance of respect for Yahiko and the rest of them before that 2. Road to sakura is a promotional filler episode for the naruto movie that was released at the time titled "road to ninja". The movie isn't canon but it's a really great watch imo. (FYI, at the end of the series you need to watch "The Last: Naruto The Movie". It's fully canon.

I think Tenten is a character that the author himself often forgets exists. She was supposed to be the badass woman in the team that includes Rock Lee and Neji, but she is just that—she has the same value as a random nameless ninja. What a shame, hehe. Have a great night, I love you all :)

It's difficult with Danzo, because he was the unofficial leader of the Rain village, the village the other 5 nations used as the arena for their wars. So ofc the leader of the most abused nation in the world is gonna come off as a bad guy. But like we learned here he started off intense but honorable, eventually aging to be intense but dishonorable

I'd definitely recommend Attack on Titan as a first anime. Yes it is complicated later on, but it breaks a lot of classic anime tropes and sucks you right into their world, rythm is top notch. In my opinion AoT is a great way to make reluctant people get into anime for those reasons.

Hanzo was Kage level. He has one of the strongest summonings. He was leader of the hidden rain and a pretty much Prime Jiraiya, Tsunade, and Orochimaru were named the legendary sanin not because they killed him he was impressed by them.

Nah. I think watching a show like Attack on Titan as a first anime can give people the idea that all anime is that violent or has high stakes like that. In reality most mainstream anime doesn't have nearly that much high stakes for characters. I do think AOT is a good show for anime reluctant people although it will give them a warped sense of what most anime is. AOT is a more mature themed show which will appeal to the Game of Thrones types non-anime audience. Once they venture into more typical anime though they're interests may not last in anime. If someone is into Marvel/DC/superhero type movies and shows though then they are likely to enjoy anime a lot.

Imo Naruto is the best starter anime to recommend to someone. Outside of the fact it is very long and filled with filler (which is skippable) it just has all the best aspects of anime. Storyline, Emotions, Fighting, ect. If u don’t like the manga cannon Naruto than your not going to like most anime imo.

Hanzo is one of my favorites. My picks for a spin-off manga were Tobirama or Hanzo. Tobirama has such a cool design and demeanor. He is a water style user, which we don't get a lot of. Would of been cool to see up until his death. And he created a bunch of ninjutsu. And Hanzo is also a cool character and looks bad ass. Would of loved to see more of him in his prime.

i'm a blackbelt in ronjutsu I think it's pretty amazing that hanzo and mifune start out by not understanding one another, but hanzo almost killing mifune sparked his conviction that he carried for the rest of his life, and Hanzo, who openly mocked the samurai tradition of seppuku as not valuing one's own life, but then to demonstrate his own conviction, ended up committing seppuku. It's pretty amazing that two people, one samurai and one ninja, who have only met twice and fought to the death both times, made each other better people. Really mirrors that thing Naruto said to sasuke about only truly knowing someone when you fight them

Guys they have the lines, because of the nine tail fox chakra, like naruto have. Its like a trait for having the chakra inside you. You "turn" into a fox, the lines are like cat Whiskers, or Fox, if you prefer xD

Hanzo was never a bad guy to begin with. He reigned during the time when the great nations were at war and decided to do something about it. Sure, he really did some despicable things in his life but I still think he was right. If im not mistaken, he conspired with Danzo in order to overthrow the Hokage so that Danzo could become hokage and he would benefit from that relationship so him and his people could benefit. Thats not a bad thing for a leader to do in times of war.

Naruto, Himawari and Boruto all have it from birth, so its fact that you are more likely to have it, if before you are born, you have contact with the chakra by one of your parents have the nine tails sealed inside and they do the you know what and a child is born, they are likely to have the whiskers.

The twins are another thing, an exeption. They didnt have it before being inside the nine tail fox, they got by being inside the fox. In the other hand, Kushina didnt have it by birth, because it was sealed in her later in her life. End of the day its the creator choice, but thats the premise.

Honestly… a lot of the filler in Naruto is either light novel stuff or added info and screen time for lesser shown characters. There’s one where the Sound 4 come back and have a rematch with Neji, Choji, Kiba, and Shikamaru and the animation and fights were actually good.

And that’s the other reason u Naruto is a great starter anime because it is a shonen that also introduces u to aspects of Iesekai and fantasy anime. Such as the world building, Percy tropes, small amounts of fan services, character backstories, ect. It’s honestly a perfect blend that really opens the door for other animes cuz then u can build from there. U ask what they like about it and what they don’t. That’s also y one peice is a good starter anime even if they don’t watch it all the way through. It’s just a good intro to different aspects of anime.

Most people don't start out bad. Hanzo's intentions and convictions from the start were good and trying to fight for peace but all the battles, fights and losses made him stray from that path and forgot his own initial convictions. He was similar to Pain. I just love the writing and storytelling of Naruto.
